Virat Kohli joined Rohit Sharma after Shubman Gill’s early dismissal. He looked solid but fell in the seventh over to a stunning Glenn Phillips catch. Kohli and Anushka were visibly shocked. The clip went viral on social media.
India struggled early against New Zealand, losing three wickets in the powerplay for just 30 runs. Rohit Sharma (15), Shubman Gill (2), and Virat Kohli (11) were dismissed. After Kohli’s wicket, Axar Patel joined Shreyas Iyer, and they are trying to build a partnership.
