India batting coach Sitanshu Kotak confirmed that Virat Kohli is fit for the second ODI.

“Kohli is fit, training, and ready,” said coach Sitanshu Kotak before the 2nd ODI.
Kohli got a knee injury before the first ODI while training with the team.
He missed the match due to this.
Shubman Gill batted at number three in his absence.
India played two debutants, Yashasvi Jaiswal and Harshit Rana.
Jaiswal opened with Rohit Sharma but got out for 15 runs in his debut. Rohit also struggled and scored only 2 runs.Shubman Gill (87), Shreyas Iyer (59), and Axar Patel (52) helped India chase 249 runs.Harshit Rana (3/53) and Ravindra Jadeja (3/26) bowled well to dismiss England for 248.
